Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that the road development project at Raa Atoll Dhuvaafaru is smoothly moving forward.
The company said that the project in “well underway” and over 30 percent of the asphalt work has been completed with an overall 80 percent of the project.
Taking to Twitter this morning, MTCC said that they work “closely with the community and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the expectation of client, community and stakeholders.”
Dhuvaafaru Road Development Project entails a 6,813.08 square meter area for foot-traffic and 25,513 square meters for vehicles along with the installation of traffic signs and street lamps.
The project was contracted to MTCC by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure for MVR 47.04 million. The project was initiated in June 2019.
