The number of COVID-19-related deaths in the Maldives has risen to 32 after a 60-year-old Maldivian male passed away while undergoing treatment.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that a 60-year-old Maldivian male taken to Dh Atoll Hospital passed away at 09:45pm last night. They added that this is considered the 38th Covid-19 death in the country.
This marks the fourth COVID-19 death in the Maldives this month.
COVID-19 in the Maldives has seen 38 fatalities so far including 32 locals and six foreigners.
