Expat dies with head injuries after falling from a vessel outside Gulhifalhu

An expatriate has passed away after sustaining a head injury when he fell from a vessel outside Kaafu Atoll Gulhifalhu.

MNDF said that the man was working on the vessel named “Victoria-267” anchored outside Gulhifalhu.

After the man sustained the head injury, he was brought to Male’ at 12:10 p.m. today with the assistance from the MNDF Male’ Area Coast Guard.

Media Official of Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) told One Online that the man passed away while being treated at the hospital. The 64-year-old man also has other pre-existing conditions according to the media official.
