After another 45 people test positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives in the past 24 hours, the total number of cases in the country has risen to 11,361.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 45 people have tested positive including 08 locals and 37 foreigners.
In the same time frame, another 50 people recovered from COVID-19, the total recoveries in the country has reached 10,284 with another 988 people in treatment.
So far, there have been 37 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 31 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a Philippine national.
