After another 50 people recovered from COVID-19, the total recoveries in the country has reached 9,833.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 50 people under treatment for COVID-19 have recovered.

In the same time frame, 50 people have tested positive including 48 locals and 2 foreigners.

Statistics show that there are 384 people in treatment at isolation facilities while 67 people are being treated at hospitals.

So far, there have been 35 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 29 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a Philippine national.
