After another 41 people recovered from COVID-19, the total recoveries in the country has reached 9,783.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 41 people under treatment for COVID-19 have recovered.

In the same time frame, 49 people have tested positive including 33 locals and 16 foreigners.

Statistics show that there are 389 people in treatment at isolation facilities while 68 people are being treated at hospitals.

So far, there have been 35 COVID-related fatalities in the Maldives that includes 29 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a Philippine national.
