A person in home quarantine at Laamu Atoll Gan has tested positive for COVID-19.

Manager of the Gan Regional Hospital, Ali Nasheed told One Online that the 20-year-old tested positive on the release sample is one of five people who gave their samples today.

While a person has tested positive in home quarantine at Gan, Saturday saw a batch of 26 MNDF trainees test positive in Kahdhoo. And another 24 people tested positive among the trainees raising the total to 59.

They are currently in quarantine at a the MNDF training grounds on the island, away from the population of the island.
