The total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 9547 after 81 more people recovered from the illness in the past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 81 which brings the total number of recoveries to 9547. With this, the total number of active cases is now 1,068.

The agency also confirmed and additional 35 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives. These include 30 locals and 5 foreigners.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 10,656.

There are 34 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are six foreigners and 28 Maldivians.
