Another 44 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives
have risen to 9,568 after another 74 people tested positive in the past 24 hours.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that from 6 p.m. yesterday to 6 p.m. today, 44 people have recovered raising the totla number of recoveries to 8,077. There are 642 people in isolation facilities and 106 people in hospitals.
In the same time period, 74 people tested positive including 37 locals and 37 foreign nationals raising the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country to 9,568.
HPA said that there are 642 people in isolation facilities and 106 people in hospitals.
COVID-19 in the Maldives has seen 33 fatalities so far including 27 locals, five Bangladeshi nationals and a man from Philippines.
