Two people in home quarantine in Addu City has tested positive for COVID-19.

Manager at the Equatorial Hospital in Addu City, Sharaf Sadhaath, told One Online that a foreigner and a local has been confirmed positive on home quarantine after their test results came back yesterday.

The two people who tested positive are a 38-year-old foreign man in Hulhudhoo and a 42-year-old local man in Gan.

While they exhibit no symptoms of the illness, authorities are conducting a contact tracing for both of them.

So far, 14 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Addu City and 12 people have recovered with the last two cases remaining as the only active cases.
