85 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 9,328.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 85 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives. These include 46 locals and 39 foreigners.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 9,328.

They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 193, which brings the total number of recoveries to 7,729. With this, the total number of active cases is now 1,560.

There are 33 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are six foreigners and 27 Maldivians.
