A Woman in home quarantine at Thaa Atoll Veymandoo has tested positive for COVID-19.

Health Emergency Operation Center (HEOC) said that a 54-year old woman in home quarantine on the island. This makes the seventh reported case of COVID-19 from the atolls today.

COVID-19 cases have been reported today from Kelaa and Dhihdhdhoo in Haa Alifu Atoll, Noonu Atoll Manadhoo, Lhaviyani Naifaru, Raa Atoll Dhuvaafaru and Hoadehdhoo in Gaafu Alifu Atoll with two cases today.

Statistics from the Health Protection Agency (HPA) show and that there are 90 cases in 26 islands that consists of 82 locals and eight foreign patients. There are eight people admitted for treatment at the COVID facilities across the country according to HPA.
