A woman in Haa Alifu Atoll Dhidhdhoo has tested positive for COVID-19.

Health Emergency Operation Center (HEOC) said that a 22-year old woman in home quarantine on the island has been confirmed positive when she was tested before being released from quarantine.

This makes the fourth reported case of COVID-19 from the island as three people tested positive tested positive on Sunday including a 4-year-old child.

Statistics from the HPA show and that there are 90 cases in 26 islands that consists of 82 locals and eight foreign patients.

There are eight people admitted for treatment at the COVID facilities across the country according to HPA.
