Ministry. of Higher Education has announced that student loan repayments have been deferred until the end of the year.

Loans were first deferred for six months in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the timeline for which is till this month.

In a tweet today, the Ministry said that after taking into account the financial difficulties faced in loan repayments due to the economic situation of the virus, student loans have been deferred till the end of the year.

The Ministry has also provided financial assistance to students studying abroad under the student loan scheme.
