Maldives Transport and Contracting Company has said that they have completed 55 percent of the Shaviyani Atoll Feevah harbor project.

The project entails, 55,163 cubic meters of dredging and breakwater for harbor depth with 55,163 meters of outer sea wall, 644 meters of inner sea wall, 182 meters of revetment, 2,320 square meters of pavement, ramp and harbor lights installation.

MTCC said that the project 72 percent of dredging and breakwater have been completed with 97 percent of the outer sea wall and revetment is underway.

The harbor project was contracted to MTCC in 2 July 2019 to be completed within 390 days.
