Maldives Meteorological Service has issued a White Weather Alert with a forecast of swell waves to some islands.

The alert has been issued to the islands from Kaafu Atoll to Addu City at the far south of the country. MET Office said that the White Alert would be in effect until 6 p.m.

Some islands in the Maldives experienced swell waves yesterday as well.
