The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment has been closed for disinfection after an employee of the Ministry has tested positive for COVID-19.

Media Official of the Youth Ministry, Azmoon Ahmed has confirmed the situation to One Online saying that the employee was confirmed positive yesterday evening and the office of the Ministry has been closed for disinfection.

Azmoon said that the disinfection process is set to be completed today but a date of reopening the Ministry is yet to be decided.

After an employee of the Youth Ministry tested positive for COVID-19, many employees are in home isolation according to the Media Official of the Ministry, and the total number of employees isolation would be annouced once the Health Protection Agency (HPA) completes the contact tracing.
