The name of the newly appointed Tourism Minister, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom, has been sent to the parliament committee on government responsibility to be reviewed for parliament approval.

After the previous Tourism Minister was removed from office following allegations of sexual harassment, Dr. Mausoom was appointed to the position on Thursday.
