MIFCO changes shop opening hours in Male’ and Hulhumale’

MIFCO has brought changes to the opening hours of their stores in Male’ and Hulhumale’.

The company said that changes were made in cooperation with the government’s efforts against COVID-19 and the changes would remain in effect until announced otherwise.

And so, the MIFCO stores in Male’ and Hulhumale’ will be opening from Saturday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and would be closing for 30 minutes at prayer times. The stores will be closed on Fridays.

MIFCO has also advised customers to follow safety instructions when shopping.

Additional regulations by the government amid the COVID-19 pandemic now includes a curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. while the stores, cafés and restaurants have been ordered to close by 9:30 p.m.
