The application window to the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has been extended till coming Thursday.

An announcement issued by the Parliament Administration noted that the deadline has been extended and that those who wish to apply for the four vacant seats in the CSC must submit their application form and relevant documents by 2:00pm on Thursday.

Four seats in the CSC were left vacant after the Parliament moved to dismiss four members, three of which resigned before the Parliament was able to take a vote to oust them.

President Dr. Ali Shameem, Vice President Shaheed Mohamed and Member Zakariyya Hussain were the members who resigned before the vote to dismiss them. Ibrahim Shaheeg was later dismissed by the Parliament after a vote.
