The total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives remained at 2,547 after no new recoveries were reported in the past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at zero with which total recoveries remain at 2,547. With this, the total number of active cases is now 929.

The agency also confirmed and additional 137 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives. These include 92 Maldivians, 31 Bangladeshis, 9 Indians, 4 Sri Lankans and ,1 Filipino. This also marks as the highest single day increase in new cases.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 3,506.

So far there are 15 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and ten Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
