Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that EIA permit was acquired on 16 July 2020 to start the Raa Atoll Rasmaadhoo harbor development project.

The company today said that the project site has was mobilized on Sunday.

MTCC said that the project entails an outer sea wall of 377 meters and a 9,000 cubic-meter harbor along with the installation of harbor lights, mooring buoy and the 600 square meters of pavement.

Ministry of National Planning contracted the project MVR 18.7 million to MTCC in December 2019.
