The total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 2,547 after 13 more people recovered from the illness in the past 24 hours.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 13 which brings the total number of recoveries to 2,547. With this, the total number of active cases is now 792.
The agency also confirmed and additional 67 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives. These include 43 Maldivians, 14 Bangladeshis, 6 Indians, 3 Indonesians and 1 American.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 3,302.
So far there are 15 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and ten Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
