The total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives remained at 2,534 after no new recoveries were reported in the past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at zero with which total recoveries remain at 2,534. With this, the total number of active cases is now 738.

The agency also confirmed and additional 50 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives. These include 34 Maldivians, 14 Bangladeshis, and 2 Indians.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 3,302.

So far there are 15 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and ten Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
