Fifty-nine people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 3,103.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 59 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives. These include 44 Maldivians, 14 Bangladeshis, and 1 Indian.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 3103.

They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at zero, hence the total number of recoveries remain at 2,397. With this, the total number of active cases is now 676.

So far there are 15 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and ten Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
