Thirty-three people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 2,999.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 33 cases of COVID-19 infections in the Maldives. These include 23 Maldivians, 6 Bangladeshis and 4 Indians.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 2,999.
They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 7 which brings the total number of recoveries to 2,369. With this, the total number of active cases is now 600.
So far there are 15 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and ten Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
