Former Tourism Minister Ali Waheed has been presented to the Police today for questioning in the sexual assault probe against him.

Police confirmed that he was summoned to Police tonight, however, no further details were released.

A travel ban against the former Minister is also in place while his passport is being withheld.

Police have so far questioned 15 individuals regarding the case and searched his residence under a court order.
