State Trading Organization (STO) has held a blood drive to donate to the National Thalassemia Center.

STO said that members of the Board of Directors and Management level staff took part in the event led by the company’s recreation club with over 90 people donating blood.

This is the first social event by STO since the COVID-19 outbreak.

STO said that even though there are fewer social activities by the recreation club, the event today was aimed help the National Thalassemia Center has they have trouble getting blood due to COVID-19.

National Thalassemia Center has appealed to the public to donate blood on numerous occasions since the COVID-19 outbreak.
