The total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 2,321 after 19 more people recovered from the illness in the past 24 hours.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 19 which brings the total number of recoveries to 2,321. With this, the total number of active cases is now 482.
The agency also confirmed and additional 30 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 29 Maldivians and 1 Bangladeshi.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 2,831.
So far there are 14 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and nine elderly Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
