Thirty-one people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 2,762.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 31 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 22 Maldivians, 8 Bangladeshis and 1 Indian.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 2,762.
They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 6 which brings the total number of recoveries to 2,290. With this, the total number of active cases is now 444.
So far there are 13 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and eight elderly Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
