The total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 2,268 after 30 more people recovered from the illness in the past 24 hours.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 22 hours, total new recoveries were at 30 which brings the total number of recoveries to 2,268. With this, the total number of active cases is now 368.
The agency also confirmed and additional 64 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 43 Maldivians, 3 Bangladeshis and 1 Indian.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 2,664.
So far there are 13 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and eight elderly Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
