Fourty-seven people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 2,664.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 47 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 43 Maldivians, 3 Bangladeshis and 1 Indian.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 2,664.
They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 30 which brings the total number of recoveries to 2,268. With this, the total number of active cases is now 368.
So far there are 13 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and eight elderly Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
