The total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 2,113 after 64 more people recovered from the illness in the past 24 hours.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 64 which brings the total number of recoveries to 2,113. With this, the total number of active cases is now 361.
The agency also confirmed and additional 23 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 16 Maldivians and 7 Bangladeshis.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 2,491.
So far there are 12 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and seven elderly Maldivians along with a Phillipines national.
