A total of 11 people, including patients and nurses have tested positive for COVID-19 at state-run Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
Speaking during a press conference by the HEOC, IGMH Dr. Ali Nazeem said that contact tracing is still in progress as the Indonesian patient had tested positive to COVID-19. He added that 11 people have tested positive so far including 5 patients.
A total of 27 people including doctors have been ordered to remain in home quarantine after the cluster was detected.
Even though HPA initially reported that the Indonesian patient had died of COVID-19 last Thursday, they had ruled the cause of death to be Cancer regardless of a positive test result.
