Maldives on Thursday reported the 11th COVID-19 related death in the island nation.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed that a 39-year-old Indonesian woman who was seeking treatment at IGMH had passed away this morning at 9:47pm.

This marks the 11th COVID-19 death in the Maldives. A 92 year old Maldivian had also passed away last night, marking the eldest person to succumb to the virus in the country.

So far, 2,400 cases of COVID-19 has been reported in Maldives with 1,969 recoveries.
