The total number of people who has recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 1,954 after 10 more people recovered from the illness.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 10 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,954. With this, the total number of active cases are now 414.

The agency also confirmed an additional 21 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 03 Maldivians, 17 Bangladeshis and 01 Sri Lankan.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 2,382.

So far there are 9 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians along with a Phillipines national who died today.
