Twenty four people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 2,361.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 24 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. This includes 11 Maldivians, 07 Bangladeshis, and 06 Indians.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is now 2,361.

They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 17 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,944. With this, the total number of active cases is now 403.

So far there are 9 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians along with a Phillipines national who died today.
