The government has decided to open the government offices starting tomorrow and authorize the restaurants and cafés to reopen for normal service starting from tomorrow.

The announcement was made by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih via Twitter.

In his tweet, President Solih said that n 1 July 2020, the National Emergency Operations Center shall cease its operations managing the Maldives’ COVID-19 response.

“Under new normal rules, government offices will reopen and businesses including shops, cafes, and restaurants can start operations from tomorrow onwards.” President Solih’s tweet said.
