The total number of people who has recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 1,927 after 16 more people recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 16 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,927. With this, the total number of active cases are now 397.
The agency also confirmed an additional 13 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. This includes 05 Maldivians, 07 Bangladeshis and 01 Indian.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,337.
So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
