Thirteen people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 2,337.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 13 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. This includes 05 Maldivians, 07 Bangladeshis and 01 Indian.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,337.

They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 16 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,927. With this, the total number of active cases is now 397.

So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
