The total number of people who has recovered from COVID-19 in the Maldives had risen to 1,875 after 12 more people recovered from the illness.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 12 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,875. With this, the total number of active cases are now 417.
The agency also confirmed an additional 22 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 04 Maldivians, 14 Bangladeshis and 04 Sri Lankans.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,305.
So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
