Twenty-two people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours raising the total number of cases in the country to 2,305.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 22 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 04 Maldivians, 14 Bangladeshis and 04 Sri Lankans.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,305.

They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 12 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,875. With this, the total number of active cases is now 417.

So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
