Sri Lankan Airlines has said that they would fly to Maldives three times a week when the borders reopen on 5 July.
The Managing Director of Sales of the General Sales Agent of Maldives from Sri Lankan Airlines, Mohamed Firaaq told One Online that from 15 July on wards, Sri Lankan Airlines is set fly to Maldives on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. And the flights would be increased as other countries open their borders.
Sri Lankan Airlines is currently flying three times a week as well but only cargo flights. Firaaq said that from 15 July on wards, Sri Lankan Airlines would fly both passenger and cargo flights.
He said that when the borders reopen, Sri Lankan Airlines will not resume flights to Addu Gan International Airport. And the Cathay Pacific flights are not set to resume either.
