President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Thursday said that student loans and scholarships will continue uninterrupted despite the challenges caused by COVID-19.
"Despite challenges of COVID19, we remain focused on higher education and training opportunities for Maldivians. I’m pleased that key programs such as our student loan scheme as well as High Achievers Scholarships and the President’s Award Scholarship shall continue uninterrupted," President Solih said in a tweet.
While the President made the statement, opportunities for the High Achievers Scholarships and President's Award Scholarship were opened this month.
