The total number of active COVID-19 cases reached 408 on Wednesday, with 10 new recoveries being reported past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 10 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,839. With this, the total number of active cases are now 408.

The agency also confirmed an additional 22 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 08 Maldivians, 13 Bangladeshis, and 01 Indian.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,260.

So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
