The total number of new COVID-19 cases reported in the Maldives on Wednesday was 22 for a 24 hour period.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 22 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 08 Maldivians, 13 Bangladeshis, and 01 Indian.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,260.
They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 10 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,839. With this, the total number of active cases is now 408.
So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
