The total number of new COVID-19 cases reported in the Maldives on Tuesday was 21 for a 24 hour period.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 21 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 12 Maldivians, 07 Bangladeshis, 01 Indian, and 01 Nepali.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,238.
They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 16 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,829. With this, the total number of active cases is now 396.
So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
