The total number of new COVID-19 cases reported in the Maldives on Monday was 14 for a 24 hour period.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 14 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 08 Maldivians, 03 Bangladeshis, 02 Indians and 01 Sri Lankan.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,217.
They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 10 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,813. With this, the total number of active cases is now 391.
So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
