The total number of active COVID-19 cases reached 387 on Thursday, with 15 new recoveries being reported past 24 hours.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 15 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,803. With this, the total number of active cases are now 387.

The agency also confirmed an additional 16 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 08 Maldivians, 07 Bangladeshis and 01 Indian.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,203.

So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
