The total number of new COVID-19 cases reported in the Maldives on Saturday was 37 for a 24 hour period.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed an additional 37 cases of COVID-19 infections in Maldives. These include 19 Maldivians, 12 Bangladeshis and 06 Indians.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives are now 2,187.
They added that in the past 24 hours, total new recoveries were at 19 which brings the total number of recoveries to 1,788. With this, the total number of active cases is now 389.
So far there are 8 COVID-19 deaths in the country. These are four Bangladeshis and four elderly Maldivians.
